Huue Magazine

It contains two articles, “Excerpts from the Elements of Typographic Style” by Robert Bringhurst and “Reputations: Paula Scher” by John L. Walter. Both articles share similar themes and explore the emotion and expression behind typography. These core ideas guided the design decisions throughout the magazine.
The magazine was hand bound using the kettle stitch technique with thick textured stock paper for the cover. The masthead was hand-embossed and one article spread was printed with white ink on red paper. These techniques show the uniqueness of Huue Magazine.
